In this process the length of the sheet is elongated - usually about 5% - but the width of the sheet remains the same. The sheet is then sent through a leveler to maintain its flatness. </P> <P><BR><STRONG>Flattened Expanded Metal</STRONG> Sheets are used in many fields, such as security, urban landscaping and architectural decoration. Materials for Flattened Sheets include aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys and many others.</P> <P><BR><STRONG>Flattened expanded metal</STRONG> is the same product as <A href="http://www.sun-expandedmetal.com/Standard-expanded-metal/">Standard Expanded Metal</A>, but has been cold rolled by a flattening machine to give it a smooth flat surface.
